Salt
Salt can cause great harm if there's too much of it in the wrong place (as with dryland salinity), but it can also cure, heal, and protect. As this painting slowly came together, it occurred to me that ecological crises, like dryland salinity, act as huge Stop! signs that protect ecosystems from human interference while they work to repair themselves.
If you look closely, you'll see that 'Salt' has many layers. Each one took at least 12 hours to dry. It's appropriate that an artwork that evolved so slowly should end up being an invitation to reimagine crises (ecological and personal) as opportunities for contemplation, healing and hope.

If you've purchased an original, I'll package and send it the next business day.
If you've purchased prints, I'ill place an order with my printing company either the same day or the next business day, depending on the time of your order. They will print, package and ship the work within 3-5 business days.
For international orders, please allow 10-14 days for your artwork to arrive.

I'm happy to exchange a print for you, though a restocking fee of 20% of the original print price will apply. I print to order and try my best not to have prints sitting in stock.
Please open and check your prints immediately upon receiving them. I accept print returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt. If you don't reach out within 7 days, I won't be able to accept a return for exchange, so please be prompt!
