The perspective is aerial, as if the viewer is flying over landforms, rivers, or contours drawn on a map.
The lines could be scars, or they could be paths that lead us towards each other and back to reciprocity and respect for the Earth.

MEET THE ARTIST

My paintings explore themes of connectedness, belonging and interdependence, prompting us to wonder: Where do you and I end and that tree or wave or mountain begin? 

The truth is, we're all part of each other. We're not separate from nature. We are nature. 

This is the beauty I’m reaching for in my paintings.

I hope my art evokes in you the same feelings of tenderness, hope and possibility I feel as it comes to life under my hands.

In her untitled poem, Rev. Molly Bolton writes: "Our grief is love with nowhere to land."
